I’ve seen a few things I like, how do I make a booking?

Great, make a note of the items you would like as well as the quantity, then either fill in the form on the about page or email us at hello@thecheekyhound.co.uk We will then check we have your date and items available and provide you with a quote.

What happens next?

When you confirm you are happy to proceed in writing, as well as read and agree to our terms & conditions, we ask for a 20% non refundable booking fee, or £100, whichever is the greatest, to secure your booking. This amount is then deducted off your final balance.

How long is the hire term? 

Our standard hire is 48 hours, however just ask if you need the items for longer and we will check availability. Extended hire will come with an additional fee.

Do you have a minimum hire amount? 

Yes our minimum is £500 (that doesn’t include the delivery charge). 

What if we damage or lose something? 

A security deposit is required for all orders. This is £250 and will be taken with your final payment. Further details are on the Terms & Conditions.

How far in advance can we book? 

We take bookings up to 18 months in advance but also specialise in short notice bookings.

Do you deliver? 

Yes, we can deliver and collect. We offer free delivery if your venue is within a 10 mile radius of Newmills, Fife. Otherwise it’s 80p per mile, with a minimum charge of £10.

How do I pay?

We accept payments by bank transfer using the bank details given on your Invoice.  

Do you set everything up for us? 

No, we just provided the decor and props, but our sister company The Decor Duo offers full styling and florals.  

We do however work with a fabulous stylist who can provide a styling service if required. Just get in touch to discuss.

Can you help with cleaning and packing up all the hired items the next morning? 

Of course. We are well aware that you might have far more exciting things to be doing the next morning, rather than heading back to your venue to pack up. So if you don’t have someone else who can help you out with this, just get in touch and ask for a quote.

Can you get me…? 

If there is something you want that you don’t see in our Collection, please get in touch. We are always on the lookout for new items so will try and source if we can! 

Are items PAT tested and do you have Public Liability Insurance? 

All electrical items are PAT Tested every 18 months by fully qualified PAT Testers. Certification can be provided if you need to show your venue.  

Yes we have Public Liability Insurance. Again, just ask if you need to see the certificate.  

Do you do flowers?

We don’t but our sister company The Decor Dup does. If you don’t want full styling and flowers however, we can recommend a few fabulous florists. 

Can you do lighting? 

We do have some lighting to hire in our Collection, but it is limited and we do suggest you use an expert for bigger projects. Your venue might have a list of suppliers, but we can also put you in touch with someone, again, just let us know.
